Jacqueline Percs

“Jackie” has over 30 years of experience working in the fields of Social Services and Education in both the Public and Private Sectors. She has worked with people of ages ranging from 15-105.

The work that she has done has predominantly been with individuals experiencing challenges and difficulties in their lives, in the following areas:

  • Social, Emotional and/or Behavioural Issues
  • “At Risk” Youth
  • Integrating into Community and /or Society
  • Intellectual and/or Physical Limitations
  • Low Self-Esteem & Failure
  • Alzheimer’s & other Dementias
  • Loss of Autonomy
  • Palliative Care

Jackie has always had an entrepreneurial spirit. As her children were growing up she wanted to be available for them and managing a regular job was demanding enough. As her 2 children grew into young adults, Jackie felt it was time to follow her dream to open her own company, Golden Home Care was then incorporated in 2012.

Having always lived her life with a “positive perspective”, she has combined this with her passion for helping people. Her company’s name is true to its word and her many clients can attest to the great quality of care and service it provides. Golden Home Care has become a successful, respected Home Care Provider, and Jackie’s reputation has been established as a leader in this field.

No matter what her clients’ challenges may be, or their age, her goal is to help people:
  • To have Purpose
  • To Maintain their Autonomy
  • To be Respected & Appreciated for the Person they are
  • To Live Life with Dignity

Noreen Napieracz-McCrory

Office Manager

Noreen joined Golden Home Care in 2014 as our Office Manager.

She brings many years of office experience and has a drive for excellence in her many roles. She thoroughly screens and interviews every care professional and is committed to finding the best caregivers for our team.

In addition to overall administrative support, Noreen oversees the key functions of the software scheduling & operating system and that our day to day operations run smoothly.

Noreen is also our “Jack of all trades” and always takes initiative and enjoys finding creative solutions and interventions to implement in improving our daily tasks and is always ready to step in when needed.

Cindy Sarazen

Director of Client Care

Cindy has been a member of the Golden Home Care team since 2014, after completing her degree as a licensed practical nurse. She was a “stay at home” mom of 4 daughters for many years until her youngest was in high school. Cindy graduated high school with a hairdressing certificate and worked for 7 years in a beauty salon while also servicing elderly clients in their homes. She enjoyed not only doing their hair care but took great pleasure in assisting with odd jobs around their home and talking to them about their own health concerns. She came to recognize her preference for working with an older clientele and decided that she would go back to school and get a nursing degree when the time was right.

Cindy is a very compassionate person. Our clients often say that it shows that she loves what she does. During her time with Golden Home Care she has attended a number of dementia care workshops and additional trainings which has assisted in guiding families and caregivers with ideas on how to deal with challenging situations. She initially started out with Golden Home Care as a personal support worker/caregiver and then naturally transitioned into the role of a Care Coordinator.

As a coordinator, she is extremely observant and will do whatever it takes to get things done to help our clients and support our caregivers. Cindy embraces each day with a positive spirit as she walks in the door to work.

Dawn Robinson

Payroll & Bookkeeping Coordinator

Dawn has been with Golden Home Care since January 2019. She has a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing and Accounting, as well as a certification in Human Resources Management. After 20+ years in the corporate world, Dawn decided that she wanted to continue her career working with a locally based company where her skills could be used to help people in a meaningful way.

Dawn has a special place in her heart for seniors. She was the primary caregiver for both her mom and her aunt and is grateful that she was able to be there for them. When her mother was diagnosed with vascular dementia and Alzheimer’s, Dawn and her husband welcomed her into their home, where they cared for her for several years. This experience heightened her compassion for family caregivers and understands the importance of support and self-care for those facing such challenges.

During Dawn’s time at Golden Home Care, her dedication, attention to detail and commitment to customer service has been exceptional. These skills in addition to her belief and embracement of our Mission, Vision & Values make her an excellent and compatible part of our team.

Tara O’Donnell

Director of Operations & Development

Tara joined Golden Home Care in the spring of 2021. After graduating with a bachelor’s in accounting from Bishop’s University in 2015, she proceeded to get her designation as a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) at McGill University in 2016.

After working in the corporate world for 5 years, Tara decided it was time to explore her entrepreneurial passion and combine her business experience with her desire to work with and help people.

As a student, Tara toyed with a few small business initiatives, as well as coached and tutored many adolescents, encouraging them to have confidence in themselves and achieve their full potential, thus discovering her interest in helping others. Tara’s corporate experience, as well as her commitment and interest in providing quality care, are an asset in her role as an active member of the Client Care Coordination Team and in the daily operations and development of the company.

Tara’s kind and gentle manner, combined with her strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, drive her to continuously support and care for our clients while finding the best way to develop strategic planning.
